The backpack is weight based, so you can very specific about what you want to keep. You have the option to remove some of the pending rewards, to make room for something that you would like more.

If you’re collecting items, other than Ancient Coins, your backpack may be too full to continue collecting rewards. This is where your rewards are stored, while you’re working thru the Labyrinth. There is also a backpack icon, next to the vials. After your Labyrinth goes thru the cool down and your Dragon Spirit returns, the backpack will refill those items for your next run thru the Labyrinth. If you run out of stamina or health in the Labyrinth, you have an icon with a couple of vials on the bottom of the screen that will help replenish both items. Once the fight is done, you will be returned to your Labyrinth, without disruption to what you were doing. and you will receive random rewards from winning.
Occasionally, you will run into another Dragon Spirit to fight in the Labyrinth. On the floors you’re able to plunder, you will receive rewards such as: resources, scrolls, forging materials and experience points. If the floor you’ve chosen says “unable to plunder” you will only receive Ancient Coins as a reward for fighting the monsters. After you’ve passed certain benchmark floors, you will be able to take short cuts to higher levels instead of always starting on floor 1. Click Explore again and choose floor 1, if this is your first time. This will bring you to the “home page” for the Labyrinth. To enter, click on the Labyrinth and Explore. The Labyrinth is located between the Dragon Lair and the Event Center, towards the top right inside your city. The benefit to using this function is that you’re able to receive rewards, such as: Ancient Coins, armor scrolls, resources, forging materials. The Forbidden Labyrinth is a place you can go to, and fight with your Dragon Spirit when your dragon is in your city.
